At the Bay Dermatology Centre, we use the state of the art laser systems. All laser procedures are performed by our Laser Nurse Technician who is a fully trained Registered Nurse with over 8 years experience. Lumenis One laser system from Coherent ATM – a leader in laser technology has multiple platforms to treat hair removal, red lesions, brown spots, legs veins, scars and provide photo rejuvenation or photo-facials for the skin. This world class laser system has pre-programmed treatment parameters to confidently treat every condition. The Lumenis One also has a computer database for storing and tracking patient treatment information.
The Fraxel 1500 with Cryo 06 from Reliant is a new laser approach to treating aging and sun damaged skin. It offers patients the positive results of ablative skin resurfacing without the side effects of the old resurfacing lasers. At the Bay Dermatology Centre we use Fraxel to treat aged and photo-aged skin, brown pigmentation, acne scarring, and some stretch marks.
